HARI OM!

@ PSK Nagar    For students in the age group of 3 to 10

Chinmaya Vidyalaya P.A.C.Ramasamy Raja Matriculation Higher Secondary School
@ Ilanthope    For students in the age group of 10 to 17

The graduation of students from Primary to High and Higher Secondary Schools is facilitated upon successful assessment. It ensures that students get uninterrupted education throughout their school life.

Our Senior School Chinmaya Vidyalaya aims to develop the interests and talents of each child so that everyone excels in studies. We also aim to take note of their unique needs to make them feel that they are wanted and their abilities are appreciated.

The school has all modern educational facilities - it is equipped with latest technologies such as interactive white boards. The truly all-round education ensures that our students leave as confident, tolerant and ambitious individuals who are leaders and life-long learners.

There are three points of entry into the school

  •   3 + (7 years)     Nursery & Primary
  • 10 + (5 years)     High School
  • 15 + (2 years)     Higher Secondary

Our Senior School Most of the students joining the Junior Nursery which is the first entry point, pass through the High School and the Higher Secondary School. New students are admitted in higher standards, when there are "chance vacancies".

The parents are entitled to receive relevant information concerning their children. Parents are expected to give their support and encouragement to the aims of the school, to uphold and promote its good name; to facilitate students to study at home and to ensure that students maintain appropriate standards in punctuality, behaviour, diligence, language, discipline and dress.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya P.A.C.Ramasamy Raja Matric. Higher Secondary School has a sprawling campus, about 37 acres of wooded site, at Ilanthope on the Rajapalayam-Tenkasi Road. The serene and spectacular grounds are home to outstanding facilities and excellent teaching. Academic rigour and thrust on co-curricular activities are the true hallmarks of the school.

God Vidya Ganapathy and Goddess Vidya Saraswathi This is a modern, purpose-built school that provides an attractive and dynamic learning environment for both the students and staff alike. The campus and the grounds are well maintained, offering our students the best possible academic and sports facilities. There is an indoor hall for table tennis and chess.

Some of the highlights of our campus include:

  • A quiet, yet an amazingly spacious campus.
  • Outside to the north flows a stream, while to the east the great Baobab tree, a species living for more than 700 years is rarely out of view, an altogether inspiring environment to study and grow up.
  • Large, open playground having tracks for athletics, courts for tennis, basketball, volley ball, ground for foot ball etc. is a unique asset that provides fresh air and space for students to practice sports.
  • There is a shrine for Vidya Ganapathy and Goddess Vidya Saraswathi.

The architectural speciality of our school is the clusters of three class rooms, built in a non-collinear formation that prevents noise from one room entering the other. The pyramid-shaped class room roofs eschew vertical expansion and keep it well under the green cover of trees. Thus the grove-atmosphere is preserved with diligence, to give the school the appearance of an ancient gurukulam. It is greenery that meets the eye wherever one looks.

Our Senior School Class Rooms The school has an efficient team of well qualified, affectionate and well paid faculty members who ensure dedicated service for the welfare of students. The teacher student ratio is 1:19 which enables individualized care to every student enrolled in our school.

The sylvan surroundings of the school with peafowls parading and dancing around have been a natural motivation for our students to acquire a love for nature and to participate in the Nature Club activities that include bird watching, trekking and participating in the Wildlife Census conducted by the Forest Department.

In short, this is a school that is dedicated to produce future citizens, who learn to live not only as responsible members of our society but also to appreciate environment and nature with its innumerable species of flora and fauna and to conserve and protect them for posterity.

At this Higher Secondary School, the day begins at 8.20 a.m. with Assembly and continues with eight periods of study until 2.50 p.m. and thereafter a games period until 4.30 p.m.
